Alumni Association

Hello Alumni & Friends!

Brenda_Barney-0016 Welcome to the Baltimore City Community College Alumni Association!  I am honored and humbled to serve as your president. I am also immensely proud to have this opportunity to support BCCC in reinvigorating and sustaining the relationships of the Alumni Association.

Congratulations to our recent graduates. You are the newest members of the greater BCCC community

– a proud legion of more than 30,000 alumni stretching around the world who bring a great cross section of professional and life experiences.  I applaud you for your dedication and commitment to pursue an education at BCCC – to improve your life, your community and the world in which we live.

Many of you have fond memories of a student club or organization whether it's the International Club, Phi Theta Kappa, Positive Men, Women of Strength, The Crier, or Student Governance Association, which enriched your overall college experience.

In this spirit, I want to encourage you to connect with each other and give back to the College and current students by actively participating in the Alumni Association!  Together, we can strengthen our group and involve ourselves in the personal and professional growth of new graduates through contributions of time, talent, financial resources and professional services. It’s time to make a difference for BCCC alumni everywhere. I would like to thank each alumna and alumnus who has continued to support and serve the Association.

Going forward, I am eager to see you at alumni events and hear your voice! You and I both know education is the best investment you can make to pursue your dreams, especially during these times of economic uncertainty.

We are currently looking for members to serve as officers on the Alumni Association Board of Directors. There are several ways to get involved.

For more information about your BCCC Alumni Association and how you might get involved, contact me at 410-462-8328 or bbarney@bccc.edu. Please also contact Mr. Thomas Hampton, director of external and alumni affairs, at 410-462-8051 or thampton@bccc.edu. By completing the convenient Alumni Association Form here, you can join our Association today!

Sincerely,

Brenda Barney, President
